Everything you need to know about branded spaces

Branded office spaces

Here at Wall Nuts, we’ve been creating and installing unique wall designs that inspire, engage and communicate brand values for over 30 years. One of our services that is becoming increasingly popular among businesses is our branded spaces service.

But what is a branded space? Let’s start with a rough definition.

What are branded spaces?

Branded spaces aren’t just those with a simple logo on the reception wall, nor are they a wall mural which is often installed on just one wall.

Instead, a branded space refers to an entire workspace that has been thoughtfully designed to reflect your business’ vision, mission and unique story. This could include depicting your brand colours, straplines, images and values on the office walls, stairways, doors and anywhere else where employees or customers spend time.

What are the benefits of branded spaces?

1. Be more memorable

A branded space helps to build your brand awareness and makes you more memorable, thus enhancing customer loyalty. Standing out from the crowd ensures your customers remember who you are, and if they had a good experience with you, it’ll keep them coming back.

2. Increase workplace well-being

If your workspace isn’t regularly visited by customers, such as an office, branded spaces can benefit your business by increasing workplace well-being.

A branded space can create an inspirational working environment, ensuring employees feel engaged with your brand. Employee engagement also improves motivation, boosts morale and increases productivity.

3. Inform, educate and include employees

Branded spaces also help to remind your employees of your business aims, objectives, values and overall mission, which ensures they feel connected to your brand. This allows you to retain staff and makes them feel a part of something important, which feeds into their well-being.

Which businesses most benefit from branded spaces?

Branded spaces certainly aren’t suitable for everyone. Rather, they are best for larger businesses that are upgrading or moving into a bigger workspace.

Many of these businesses will have considered or installed a wall mural in the past. However, now they’re expanding, they’ve realised that a single wall mural isn’t quite enough.

Just take a look at these images from local construction supplier Grayson. Despite initially approaching Wall Nuts about a single wall mural, they soon opted for a complete branded space instead.

Here are just a few of the design suggestions we made and why:

Branded Space Example From Wall Nuts

After seeing our designs on the wall, Grayson’s Managing Director, Tony Higson, said:

“Steph visited the Grayson office when it was still a work in progress (many walls were still being built, and we had no furniture in the workspace yet), so we were impressed with Steph’s flexibility and vision despite having little to go off.

After seeing the designs, it was clear how much attention to detail went into the branded spaces plan. Steph was effortlessly able to create an impactful theme and incorporate on-brand and motivational messaging throughout our office.

If you’re looking for someone to help create a branded space for your business, I’d highly recommend using Wall Nuts.”
