Davison Fencing, Bradford

The Brief

For their office in Bradford, Davison Fencing wanted and engaging backdrop to reflect their culture which would also enable them to market and showcase their business.

The Process

After our initial survey, we had a briefing session where our client told us about their company history, their people and their clients. From this, we proposed a series of design style options for their choice. After consideration and further discussion they loved the idea of an illustrated story depicting their history. We worked collaboratively over a number of months until we reached a final design. During this process, it was decided that a second wall should be transformed to help to inspire their team, with a window vinyl for their entrance, and a change of logo too. As our client wanted something they could take with them if they were to move offices in the future, the appropriate solution was to use one piece of silicone stitched onto framework that would be hung on the wall in a tension frame.

The Result

We transformed the board room wall into a talking point using an illustrated story to depict, encompass and reflect the history and story of the company through the use of characters symbolising the work they do, past projects and their newly designed logo. In addition, the second wall is now a wall to inspire staff daily, displaying inspirational words provided from the staff themselves. Finally, their formally plain window now has a vinyl addition to welcome people in. Overall, this project was enjoyable, successful and did what it set out to do and more.
