The Brief
Ahead of their move into a larger office space, Northern Estate Agencies Group wanted to transform the plain, white walls into a space that reflected their family and community working culture. Our client wanted to create four feature walls. One for their reception area, one for their break out kitchen space and two for their board room. The aforementioned theme of family and community work culture was to be portrayed through the use of photographs taken in the community and at events. It was important to our client that this transformation was completed quickly before they moved all their staff in and before upcoming meetings.
The Process
After our initial site survey and with a clear brief, we began designing around the photographs provided. These were to be a strong feature of two of their walls – one in the board room and the other in their break out kitchen area. The second wall in the board room was to be a space to display their brand values. For their reception area, we felt that a design around a street scene sketch would best reflect the company’s nature and create a welcoming feel. With few design amendments to be made, the approving process was smooth and, as per our clients briefing request, we were able to promptly move onto the next stages – printing and installing.
The Result
Having fulfilled our clients’ brief of reflecting their family and community culture as a company, they were happy with the end result, so much so we re-created their board room design in their second branch in Oldham – tailoring the content specifically to that branch.
